Stella's One Month Doctor's Appointment

We had a great visit to Stella’s pediatrician! When Stella was born, she weighed 6lbs 11 oz, but at her first visit to the pediatrician, she weighed 6lbs 5 oz and was 18.5 inches long. Now she weighs 8lbs 5 oz and is 20 ½ inches long!! Yeah!! The doctor (she was actually a Nurse Practitioner) said that for an exclusively breastfed baby, you can’t get better than that! She was in the 15 percentile when she first went to the doctor, and now she is in, like, the 30th! What a relief! Her jaundice seems to be all gone, too! We asked about her baby acne, and she said what everyone else has said, which is that there is nothing we can do about it. She said it should be gone in about three months. It seems to be really bad acne, but the NP said that she has seen considerably worse. Everything else looked good, and we LOVED the NP! She was great! She said that Stella is doing well, so, of course, we are happy campers! (To the left is just a cute picture of the baby!)
