At the end of June, and beginning of July we were blessed to have the opportunity of going on vacation! My parents have a timeshare, and so that rocks for us because we get to go on a family vacation every year without have to pay for lodging. Yeah! This is the second year that we have had a big family vacation. This year we went to Massanutten, Virginia which is right in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Needless to say it was beautiful!! My mom, sister, her boyfriend (Mike,) Casey, Stella, and I all went. We swam, ate, slept, exercised, and hung out. It was so awesome! This was the first official time that Stella went swimming, and she loved it! She enjoyed it more than I did! She looked so adorable in the water with her little swimsuit! We also had an opportunity to go on the Appalachian Trail while we were there. That was a workout! Stella started off in the EasyRider on my chest, but ended up in her daddy's arms. That was not a surprise to me! After the week was over we didn’t have to say goodbye, yet because we went to Ohio. We went to Ashland (Casey’s hometown) for the Fourth of July. It was so much fun! Stella met even more of her family, and went to her first fireworks show which she slept through! Casey had to leave on Sunday to go back home to work, but Stella and I were able to stay one more week. We left Ashland on Monday, and went to Champion (my hometown) for a few more days. Stella again was able to meet more of her family. I also met up with my old friend, Christine, who I haven't seen in years. It was great to catch up! My parents drove us down to North Carolina on Friday where Casey met us. We were sad to say goodbye, but we were happy to be with Casey again. We had a blast, and it was amazing that we had our sweet little girl with us for her first family vacation. She makes everything even more fabulous!
