Fun with Friends/ Stella's First Camping Trip

We had such a fun time with our Ohio friends last month. The Boy Scouts from our ward and the Boy Scouts from our old branch in Ohio got together to hike the Appalachian Trail from Georgia to North Carolina. While they were hiking, my girl friends from Ashland, Stacy and her daughter Kayla, came to hang out with Stella & me. We relaxed and had fun, while the boys had a VERY difficult hike! We went shopping, ate ice cream, ate out, etc. On Wednesday, Stella and I went with them back to the camp site where the boys were camping. The boys slept in tents, but we slept in a cute little cabin. It was great! We ate and then we all went to the Chattooga River to swim, or wade. The next day the boys went rafting, and we went back to our house. After the boys had van trouble on the way to our house from the camp site, they were finally able to leave Friday evening, having originally planned to leave super early Friday morning. I felt so bad about the van having problems, but it all worked out in the end. We had a great time with them. Stella loves camping!
