Well, we finally did it. With the housing market in our area at an all-time high, we decided we better go ahead and sell our beloved home of 12 years. We moved out June 30th (the day before my Father-in-Law passed) and into my in-laws house. It was a very difficult move with a lot of ups and downs...mostly downs. At times, it felt like it was never going to happen, but finally it did and without going into details, we felt that Casey's dad had a lot to do with that. We are now renting their house temporarily. We are so grateful that we had that option, and we hope to find a new place super soon, so we can settle. We have become the type of people that like to be settled. We love home. Anyway, Casey spent every possible moment, including sleepless nights, fixing up the house and finally we were able to get it on the market on Wednesday, July 25th. We had an offer the next day and it was under contract by that Friday. What an IMMENSE blessing that was! We closed on it August 27th, but the Sunday before we went by our old house to take some pictures. It was a little emotional! We had no children when we moved in there and look how much the Lord has blessed us within those twelve years!

Your home was beautiful and I can see why it sold so quickly. I hope you find the next one soon and I'm sure when you do many more memories will be in the corners of each room just waiting to be had. A house is just a building until a family moves in..then it's a home.
