Fall Festivals

Here in the south it seems that most festivals are in the fall or spring although it is still hot!!!...just not as hot as it was. We always go to the annual Apple Festival in Henderson, NC. Here are previous posts here, here, here, and here. We just love it! It's beautiful. The food is delicious and the parade at the end is always the kid's favorite.

Stella was good sport about going on this little ride with Poppy. Apparently the little girl at the end was not having it!

A couple weeks after we headed to the Spartoberfest. It's Spartanburg's Oktoberfest. It also has awesome food and a great community spirit. It happened to be the same weekend as Hurricane Florence so they shortened it to two nights. We went Friday and it was PACKED! It was so great to see everyone there even though a storm was a comin' (we didn't get too much from the storm though, luckily!) 

There was FREE face painting there. The lady did an amazing job.
