This year was our first Christmas Eve at home since...ever?...I'm not sure, but for as far back as I can remember! We started new family traditions with Christmas Eve dinner, then the kids acted out the nativity while we read scriptures, and lastly, Casey read "The Night Before Christmas" with them. It was fantastic.

On Christmas Day, the kids woke us up and told us that Santa had arrived! They opened their stockings and then we headed to church. When we got home, they opened up all of their gifts and then we ate...and ate...and ate.

One of the saddest parts of Christmas is when it's over and we have to say "Goodbye" to our elf, Owl.
They're only allowed to touch him when he arrives and when he leaves.
It went by way to fast! We hope you all had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
