Snow 2017

It's a holiday in the south when it snows! Where we live, it snows about once a year. So what do we do on snow days in the south?

We go play outside at 7:30 in the morning! It was almost as exciting as Christmas for the kids.

 We have snowball fights.

We wrestle (or wrastle, as they say down here.)

We look at our neighborhood covered in white because it is not a sight we see very often.

We play legos (or snack on them, as you see Poppy doing.)

We snuggle.

We see cool wildlife (Stella took this picture. If you look closely at the main trunk in the middle, on the left of it is a woodpecker.)

Church was canceled (which it usually is every snow.) School was closed for two days, too, but my kids are homeschooled, so we still schooled.

I saw an article that said that currently every state, except for Florida, has snow on the ground. That is amazing to me! This is probably the longest snow has stayed on the ground here since we've lived here (going on five days now.) It's probably all going to be gone soon though since it's going to be 72 degrees on Friday!

We love us some snow...a few times a year anyway!

PS -- Is anyone having difficulty changing their font colors on their blog?
