This was our third time going to the Polar Express in Bryson City, NC. We go every couple of years. It is a fun and pretty magical trip. We drive up to NC, get our golden tickets, hop on the train and ride to the North Pole!! During the train ride we are served hot chocolate and cookies. There are elves in each car that entertain us, and after reaching the North Pole, Santa himself comes to see everyone on the train and gives the kids a bell! It's just amazing. It was kept a surprise from the kids, too, which makes it even more fun.

On the way back from the North Pole these two girls were talking to their daddy and I snapped this to show how close they were to him. Can you tell that they like him a little bit?

We hope to return again in a couple of years to the Polar Express!

So sweet! I'm glad they had a fun time and that "special" visit from Santa! I hope you had a very nice Christmas. We're getting about a foot of snow this weekend so be thankful you're in a place that's not too cold!
