It's our third year of getting a live tree. We just love this tradition. Since we moved, we went to a new tree farm right here in town. It was fun and they gave the kids a bunch of goodies from their Christmas store there on the farm. It was POURING rain while we were there, but we really didn't have another day to go, so we had to just go with it.

After getting the tree decorated, Poppy and I made Christmas toffee. I started this year to make one Christmas treat with a different child each week (except for Emmeline.) The kids always want to help me in the kitchen, so I thought they would like this. They all seemed to enjoy it.
