Holidays 2010

We were gone for about a week and a half for our holiday vacation! We stayed with Casey’s family and we stayed with my family. We also stayed a night in Pittsburgh with my sister and her hubby which was super fun. They are such a great aunt and uncle to Stella. She loves them. Christmas was perfect. Stella is just so much aware of everything now such as Baby Jesus and Santa. She was so cute when opening her gifts. She really showed appreciation for them. We went to Hermitage, Pennsylvania, too to see our extended family on my mom's side. We stopped at a place called Kraynak's. We used to go there when we were little because they put up displays for every holiday. The displays are awesome! Another fun activity was making cookies for Santa even though the cookies turned out…interesting. That’s a new family tradition. We also had opportunity to spend time with old friends and enjoyed catching up with them. We stayed in Ohio for New Year's, too. We actually went up to Casey’s sister’s house (around Toledo) for that. We went to the Toledo Zoo to celebrate New Year's Eve. Casey said it had been twenty plus years since spending New Year’s with his sister. Stella loved playing with her cousins. I think Stella has her grandparent’s hearts and they have hers, too. This was the best Christmas ever!
