Hello Ocean!

We read this really cool book for our unit on the ocean (it's really great if you're talking about the five senses, too):

Then, of course, we HAD to go to the beach! Both of the kids had swim lessons this summer. Stella loved the lessons, Grady not so much, but we had to make sure we let them have a chance to try out what they learned! We went to Charleston with some of our dearest friends, Kyle, Stacy, Dakota, and Kayla. Love them. We had a BLAST and did not want to leave!

We were able to meet up with an awesome missionary who served in our area, too!
