What in the heck?! Do you realize that next month she'll be a year and a half?! Wow. It kind of makes me sad, but it makes me happy also to see all of the cool new things she's doing!
At 17 months she:
~Loves all animals, especially dogs. She has no fear of them which can be a good thing or a bad thing.
~Takes my jewelry on a daily basis and puts it on. (She's accidentally broken about five of my necklaces, but it's ok.)
~Loves to help me with the garden. She loves picking veggies and fruit (even when they're not quite ready to be picked.)
~Doesn't sit through Sacrament meeting anymore. I'm lucky if we get through taking the sacrament. She keeps me on my toes!
~Has quite a bit of hair! She has enough to put a clip in it although she doesn't let it stay in there.
~Likes killing ants. This is a skill taught to her by her Baba.
~Knows where her eyes are, and she kind of knows where her nose is.
~Plays a piano whenever she can get her little hands on one. We'll definitely need to get her in lessons when she gets older.
~Is still nursing about once a day, but she will be weened in a month (sniffle, sniffle.)
~Loves sweets! Uh oh! We need to be careful!
~Still enjoys books, but she doesn't tear them up as much anymore.
~Throws tantrums.
~Is starting to hit, and because of this she is also starting time out.
~Thinks it's really cool when Daddy paints her nails.
~Loves her church family!
~Signs! I'm going to take her to some activities in the deaf community because I don't want her to lose her signs as she is learning to talk more and more.
~Helps Daddy and Mommy around the house. She helps with outdoor work of Casey's, and she helps me with laundry. She also cleans up after herself pretty well. Yay!
~Already has at least three boys interested in her. NOOOOO!!!!
~Loves cell phones.
We had a Relief Society meeting tonight. I was looking for Stella a bit frantically because I couldn't find her, and my friend said, "Your baby is one of the most loved babies! No one would let anything happen to her!" She is a very blessed baby to have parents, family, and friends who love her so much. She loves all of us right back, too.

One more month until nursery. Then it's all just a blur! Enjoy that baby she is such a nice blessing.
